Rocks

Rocks are found naturally generating around your Minecraft world, both on the surface and underground and can be helpful in the early game, skipping the wood tier of tools if you want.

Obtaining

The easiest way of obtaining Rocks is by simply picking up rocks on the surface; they do not require any tools to pick up and break instantly.

Types

There are several different types of rocks, including ore types that are called chunks (although they are the same as rocks).
